G. Michael Maitre Jr., DMD
Dr. Michael Maitre Jr. grew up in Mobile and attended UMS-Wright Preparatory School for 13 years, graduating in 1984. He then graduated from the University of Alabama in 1988 and from the University Of Alabama School Of Dentistry in 1992.
To keep current with the latest advancements in the dental field, Dr. Michael Maitre Jr. maintains membership with both the American Dental Association and the Alabama Dental Association.
Dr. Michael Maitre Jr. is married and has three children. His hobbies include sports, hunting, fishing and spending time with his family.
Forrest G. Crabtree, DMD
Dr. Forrest Crabtree is a native Mobilian who graduated from UMS-Wright Preparatory School in 1997. He attended Samford University in Birmingham where he played on the golf team and was involved in various social and community organizations.
He graduated from Samford, where he held the office of Interfraternity Council President, in 2001. He then went on to dental school at the University of Alabama School of Dentistry, where he was American Student Dental Association President, and graduated from there in 2005.
To stay current with the latest dental advances, Dr. Forrest Crabtree is a member of the Mobile Dental Society, the Alabama Dental Association and the American Dental Association. Dr. Crabtree has also participated in implant training courses.
Dr. Forrest Crabtree spends his time with his wife, Kelly, their two boys, Mac and Parker, and their daughter Ellie.
R. Blankenship Maitre, DMD
Dr. Ship Maitre is a native son of Mobile and graduated from UMS-Wright Preparatory School in 1999. He obtained degrees in both biological sciences and business management from the University of Alabama in 2003. He then went on to earn his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Alabama School of Dentistry in 2009.
Dr. Ship Maitre also gained advanced training in dental implants through the Comprehensive Implant Residency Program. In this program he learned the latest advancements in dental implant placement, restorations, and grafting procedures.
To stay up-to-date with the latest dental advances Dr. Ship Maitre belongs to the American Dental Association, the Alabama Dental Association and the Mobile Dental Society.
Dr. Ship Maitre and his wife, Julia, have two children, Mary Sisson and Eli. Outside of improving lives through excellent dental care, Ship is a an avid football fan who is involved in numerous athletic organizations. He also relishes spending time with his three dogs and his family, being an active member at his church where he teaches Sunday school among other leadership roles, and he enjoys playing golf, hunting and fishing.
